Obiturary of Virginia Mae (Zuspan) Kline
Virginia Mae Kline, age 82, of Mount Vernon, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2012 at her residence.
She was born January 16, 1930 in Marion to Donald D. and Florence (Upton) Zuspan. Virginia graduated from Pleasant Valley H.S. in Marion and then went on to receive her BA from Ohio Northern University and then a Masters degree from The Ohio State University.
Virginia was a very active member of Gay St. United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Delta Kappa Gamma Sorority, Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion, a Jennings Scholar and love to quilt.
She is survived by her children, William (Marcia) Kline of Columbus, Wesley (Linda) Kline of Mount Vernon, Walter (Karen) Kline of Charlotte, N.C., Wilbur (Lesley) Kline of Huntington, Indiana, Roberta Wilson of Gallipolis and Rev. Rebecca (John) Innerst of Beloit; 14 grandchildren; four great-grandsons; three great-granddaughters; sisters, Carol (Karl) Blass, Helen (Jim) Alcorn, Shirley (Robert) Campbell, Peggy Sensing; a brother, Gerald Zuspan and several nieces and nephews.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father Donald D. Zuspan; her mother, Florence Zuspan Knickel;;loving husband; Rev. Robert Earl Kline; brothers, Lawrence D. and Keith Eugene Zuspan; and her stepfather, Welcome Knickel.
Friends may call on Monday, June 11, 2012 from 4:00 - 7:30PM at Dilley-Lasater Funeral Home in Mount Vernon. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00AM at Gay St. United Methodist Church with Rev. Denise Marikis officiating. Burial will be in Harmon Cemetery in Gilboa, Ohio.
