RONALD G. CHESSER, 75, of Springfield died Tuesday afternoon, June 29, 2004 in Ridgewood Nursing Center.

He was born June 25, 1929 in Springfield, Ohio, the son of Everett and June (Pidcock) Chesser. Mr. Chesser was a self-employed housepainter and television repairman.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald E. and Carol Chesser of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; sister and brother-in-law, Mona and Ted Houseman of Cincinnati; two grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a niece and a nephew. His parents; first wife, Janet; and second wife, Ruth preceded him in death.

Graveside services will be held in Ferncliff Cemetery Thursday at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Stinger of Victory Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow.
