Obituary of Arthur Earl Grimm

ARTHUR GRIMM DIES AT RESIDENCE HERE.

Arthur E. Grimm, 62, died at his home, 725 Broadway, at 6:30 P.M. Sunday.

In failing health since April, Mr. Grimm died of a heart condition.

At the time of his death, he was employed by the State Highway Department where he held a supervisory position.

Born in Sullivan, Ind., he was a member of the Sugar Creek Baptist Church.

Besides his widow, Verna C., at home, he leaves six sons and seven daughters and 14 grandchildren.

The sons are: Gordon, who is with the Air Force in Japan and who was formerly a member of the Flying Tigers; Robert and Charles, both of Dayton; Arthur, Junior of Columbus and Roger and Paul, both of Washington C.H.

The daughters are Mrs. George Coldren and Miss Doris Grimm, both of Columbus; Mrs. Mack Woodgeard, who is in Germany with her husband; Mrs. Robert Heltburmer [newspaper typo - should be Hiltbrunner] of Columbus; Mrs. Danny Lewis, who is with her husband at Camp Polk, La.; Miss Janice Grimm of Dayton and Miss Carol Grimm of Washington C.H.

Also surviving are three brothers: Floyd H. of Rome; Howard S. of Mt. Sterling and Sgt. John W. of the Columbus Police Department and a sister, Mrs. Floyd Baughn, Rural Route 4, Washington C.H.

Arrangements for the funeral, under the direction of the Gerstner Funeral Home, are incomplete pending word from the relatives.

Friends may call at the late residence after 7 P.M. Monday.
